In Greenacres, permits are needed for projects such as replacing A/C units, water heaters, windows, doors, roofs, or fences as well as installing sheds, shutters, additions, driveways, or pavers. Tree removals, including dead or damaged trees, also require a (no-fee) permit. For questions about permits, contact the Greenacres Permit Department at 561-642-2059. (Florida Building Code 105.1)
